The team at CVstory had been Employers, Recruiters and Jobseekers. Yet we’ve always felt short-changed and frustrated when either applying for jobs or trying to hire potential employees.

And one day whilst in the pub (again) we aired our frustrations and soon realised we all felt the same way. That despite the ongoing technology revolution, the way we actually applied for jobs hasn’t changed for 60 years.

You send in your CV and hope for the best.

But, this doesn’t help anyone. Jobseekers have trouble standing out from a crowd, Recruiters don’t get to know their candidates and Employers can’t make an informed decision on who to call in for interview.

And after 2 or 3 alcoholic beverages (you know, the creative time, before it all goes wrong) we started to think about how we could help everyone. So we decided to pull our experiences together and create a service that works for us all.

And that’s how CVstory was created.
