Our revenues will come from offering pay-per-click advertising to both Employers and Recruiters. We will offer them the chance to sell their services to you via banner advertising. This will only be target specific and you’ll never be inundated with ads. But what you will get are links to companies that are currently hiring in your location and your industry sector, making it even easier for you to find that dream job.

Does that mean when I send my CVstory to employers and recruiters they will see the ads?

No - as soon as you send your CVstory the ads will disappear.

Who should use CVstory?

Our previous experiences have taught us that CVstory works for everyone. So if you’ve just left school or you’re looking for that one last job before you retire, then CVstory can help. And as it’s free you could even let your kids have a go.

Who can see my CVstory?

The only people who can see your CVstory are CVstory members and even then only members who have been given a link to your CVstory by you.

Can I send my CVstory over to my friends and family?

Yes, although we would advise that you don’t include any personal information such as salary expectations. All sections of your CVstory can be deleted or added.

Will you pass on my details to third parties?

CVstory will never send any information on to third parties. You control your CVstory no one else.

Doesn’t giving too much information sometimes hinder my chances of securing a job?

Not with CVstory! Our system has been especially tailored to let recruiters and employers see the best side of you. The questions are designed to give you the opportunity to showcase how interesting you are.

Can I upload videos onto my CVstory?

Not for the foreseeable future. We researched heavily into Video screening and felt that unless you’re a trained Actor or Actress you will more then likely be been seen in a bad light.

Will you be offering any other features?

Yes, we aim to integrate a number of new free services throughout this year and next. When a new service is ready we’ll announce it on the homepage.

Will CVstory work across the world?

Definitely, we are currently aiming to roll our CVstory in the US, Canada and Australia in the late summer. We will then roll-out across Europe in early 2009.

How do I upload my photos

To upload photo’s you need to navigate to your profile and Edit your gallery, if you do not have any galleries then you will need to create one prior to uploading photos. Once you have added a gallery you will see a “Add picture” link.
